Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced MEP Lead for a £100m residential tower project in East London. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience with Tier 1 Main Contractors, particularly on major projects like high-rise towers. Responsibilities include collaborating with the design team, managing the program for Mechanical and Electrical works, and ensuring quality control. Strong communication and client engagement skills are essential for this urgent hire before Christmas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience with Tier 1 Main Contractor or Developer.
• Experience as MEP Lead on projects valued over £50m.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Design Team to refine solutions and drawings.
• Manage the program for all Mechanical and Electrical works.
• Engage in client management and quality control.
• Provide weekly reports to Project/Construction Directors.

One of our top Main Contractor clients has recently started work on a £100m Residential tower project in East London - what a scheme it is! We have been asked to supply the MEP Lead on this 40 storey tower project. Are you a No.1 MEP Lead who has developed for high profile, major projects for a top Main Contractor / Developer? Have you worked on high rise tower projects in logistically challenging locations? Is client liaison a big strength of yours? 3 x "Yes" answers? If so, Build Space has the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities

• Working with the Design Team to finalize final solution and drawings
• Drafting and managing programme for all Mechanical and Electrical works
• Client Management
• Quality Control
• Weekly reporting upline to Project Director / Construction Director

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years Tier 1 Main Contractor / Developer experience
• MEP Lead experience on major projects > £50m in value - Residential Tower project experience
• Degree educated or similar
• Excellent communication skills - written and spoken
