  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication administration.
  • Implement individualised care plans tailored to the needs of each person.
  • Utilise Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques to support behavioural development and learning.
  • Foster an inclusive environment for individuals with autism and other developmental challenges.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made by individuals.
  • Engage in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with adults with disabilities is essential.
  • Previous experience working with people with autism or in special education settings is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with individuals and their families.
  • Understanding of medication administration procedures and patient care best practices.
