We are recruiting full time Mental Health Support WorkersforCygnet Hospital Becktonwhich offers a range of secure mental health services for women across four specialist wards.
As an active member of our dynamic team, you'll provide support for our nursing staff including the admission, assessment, implementation and discharge of inpatients, with a focus on dignity and safety at all times.
We are ideally looking for people with previous inpatient mental health experience ideally in a challenging and/or acute setting.
You will be expected to work on average 38.5hrs per week covering 11 hour shifts on a rota basis andmustbe able to cover a mix of day (7.30-20.00) and night (19.30 08.00) shifts. It will also be a requirement for you to be able to complete the mandatory training and induction including necessary restraint training.
