The Pharmacy Department is a forward‑thinking and progressive team dedicated to delivering a patient‑focused, modern hospital pharmacy service. We are expanding our team and seeking a self‑motivated, enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician with strong initiative and a commitment to high standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organisational and dispensary skills, and the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Dispensing for inpatients, outpatients and our peripheral units.
  • Medicines management on the wards.
  • Final accuracy checking on prescriptions if required.
  • Responsibility of a designated area, e.g. controlled drug area.
  • Counselling patients on their medication.
Requirements
  • To be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council or a Pre‑Registration Student eligible for registration this year.
