An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and proactive Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy department for 22.5 hours per week.
The role is varied and constantly evolving to meet the needs of the service. Whether you are working alongside clinical ward pharmacists, supporting the digital pharmacy, conducting audits or investigations or accuracy checking, no two days are the same. You must be able to work collaboratively to deliver the highest quality of care, and to encourage the development of others, the service and yourselves.
The post will involve travel across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Currently there are no weekend duties, bank holiday working or late nights. You may be expected to work some Saturday mornings in the future.
There is an expectation that the successful candidate will temporarily increase to 37.5 hours to support a 6-month pilot for our community mental health teams in Hereford and Redditch. Training for the pilot is on 13th & 14th November in Milton Keynes.

You will need to be a confident decision maker, with clear leadership skills, excellent pharmaceutical knowledge and technical skills and a sound understanding of pharmacy service and hospital service.
