Overview

Job Title: Medicine Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location: Willows Referrals

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

Salary: Starting from £28,000 per annum, depending on experience

An exciting opportunity for a dedicated Medicine RVN has come up within our Willows Veterinary Hospital.

This role comes with particular responsibility for nursing medical and high dependency cases. Depending upon workload, general assistance throughout the hospital (skill set dependant) will also be required. Guidance and support of student nurses and veterinary care assistants are all important aspects of the role. An ability to work closely with other personnel at all times is essential in order to facilitate the efficient running of the medicine service and ensure optimum patient care.

This role involves set shifts on a 6 week rota and rotates throughout the week.

These shifts include: 7am-3pm, 7:30am-3:30pm, 10am-6pm, 12pm-8pm, 1pm-9pm, with 1:6 weekend rota.

This role is suitable for an RVN with at least 1 year post-qualification experience. Additional relevant qualifications and/or previous experience in a referral setting are beneficial but not required. Full training and support will be provided.
