An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Transcriptionist Team Leader to join the St Helens Administrative Team. The post holder will provide comprehensive admin support to Consultants and Junior Medical Doctors in Community Mental Health Services.
Our community mental health teams work with people with severe and enduring mental health issues as well as those with less severe illness who have not responded to provided interventions in primary care services. They offer flexible, responsive and proactive integrated services to individuals with severe and complex mental and behavioural disorders. The service is delivered primarily within individuals’ homes and aims to enable crisis intervention to achieve the highest level of functioning in the least restrictive setting, preventing unnecessary hospitalisation and facilitating more rapid discharge from acute care settings.
