Our client, a well-established, reputable health care company are looking to recruit a hardworking, reliable and proactive Medical Secretary / Events Manager for their busy office.

Reporting to the Senior Partner, you will provide PA / administrative support and play a key role in the continuous improvement and development of the departments.

Duties will include :

  • Maintaining medical and insurance records
  • Handling communications and calendars
  • Type medical documents (e.g. physician dictations and patient charts)
  • Maintain detailed patient and medical records
  • Manage office communications (e.g. phone, correspondence)
  • Schedule medical appointments
  • Work with insurance companies to process claims
  • Process invoices, bills and payments
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Events management / planning for any corporate events both internal and external

As a successful candidate you will have previous experience as a medical secretary or similar administrative role, knowledge of medical terminology, regulations & medical office procedures and processing insurance claims would beneficial.

Confident and organised with an eye for detail you will possess strong communication and team-working skills and will be able to handle a high-volume workload in a busy department with minimal supervision.
