A healthcare center in Greater London is seeking a permanent part-time Receptionist/Administrator. The role involves providing high-quality reception service, managing patient queries, and assisting with administrative duties. Ideal candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and be adaptable. Training is provided, and the position requires flexibility in working hours. Pay ranges from £12.21 to £13.06, with scheduled shifts Monday to Friday.
Blyth Road Medical Centre is looking to recruit a permanent part time Receptionist/Administrator. Hours will be around 24 to 30 آب with flexibility for the right candidate.
Working hours will be set agreed shifts, Monday to Friday between 8am - 6:30pm, zas applicants must be flexible to cover any shifts for holidays and sickness during these hours.
Role will be predominantly working on Reception on a rate of pay of £12.21 with some assigned admin shifts on a rate of pay of £12.59 progressing up to £13.06.
Annual leave is in line with Agenda for Change.
Experience of working in a GP Practice would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.

The successful candidate will provide a high quality Reception service to patients, doctors and other members of the Primary Health Care Team. It is essential to contribute to the maintenance of patient confidentiality at all times inside and outside the Practice.
We are a friendly practice with around 6300 patients, 2 GPs, 3 ANPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 HCA's and a team of admin and Reception staff.
Reception Duties
Opening the premises, checking the security and safety of the premises at the end of each day.
Receiving, checking and printing requests for repeat prescriptions when required
Receiving and routing patients on arrival, in courteous and efficient manner
Acting tasks and emails
Arranging interpreters
Act as a Chaperone when required
Answering general enquiries at the reception desk and by telephone, explaining surgery procedures, making new and follow-up appointments
Entering requests for appointments onto the Online Consultation Triage system and completing any actions as per clinicians
Filing and extracting medical records болдуing reports and letters and any other documentation relating to these
Receiving, recording and passing of detailed and accurate requests for home visits to the clinicians
Receiving, recording and passing accurate messages for all members of the practice.
Deal with വ്യക്തമ所有의첩 patient registrations and temporary resident registrations
Ensuring the reception area is left tidy and ready for use by incoming colleagues, together with information about urgent and unresolved matters
Offering administrative support to the practice nurses
Two week wait referrals and occasional typing of referral letters
Scanning hospital letters
Scanning and emailing documents as required
To help the practice maintain accurate and up-to-date patient computer database and to offer support element with practice statistics and audit
To process links for IOS and registration and to claim IOS payments if required
To deal with insurance claims and access to health records if required
To participate in inappropriate meetings
To help with refreshments for doctors and visitors
To undertake other duties as may be determined from time to time, commensurate with the range of activities described above
To provide cover in the absence of other members of staff
To participate in accordance with the need for individual and practice needs.
Any other duties assigned by the Partners, Practice Managers or Senior Receptionist
To attend training both in house and at other locations as the need of the post requires
