A prominent educational institution in Canterbury is seeking an experienced Nurse to join the Medical Centre. The ideal candidate will have a nursing qualification and at least 2 years of experience with the NMC. This role involves providing care for pupils in a supportive environment, managing medicine, and contributing to health and wellbeing initiatives. We are looking to appoint an experienced Nurse to work in our Medical Centre. The Medical Centre is an 8‑bedded unit which provides 24‑hour nursing care and support to all pupils. The medical provision is primarily health care, minor injuries, illness assessment and treatment, medicine management and care plans for long‑term conditions. We have a strong focus on general health and wellbeing, as well as pastoral care and safeguarding.
Applicants will require a qualification in nursing, and will preferably have experience of working in a similar environment. They will hold a minimum of 2 years' experience as a registered nurse with the NMC.
Position is 43 hours on average per fortnight, term time only (35 weeks per year).
