£170-£220 per day | Full-Time or Part-Time | Long-Term Role

Are you a creative and forward-thinking Media Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of digital storytellers? Simply Education is recruiting an enthusiastic Media specialist to join a progressive and well-resourced secondary school in the Holmes Chapel area. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic educator who is passionate about teaching Media Studies and driving strong outcomes across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Media Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Teach theoretical and practical elements such as film analysis, digital media, production techniques, and media language.
  • Use high-impact teaching and learning strategies to drive progress.
  • Promote creativity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
  • Implement robust behaviour for learning strategies in line with school policies.
  • Support students with coursework, practical projects, and exam preparation.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, digital curriculum development, and whole-school initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of Media Studies, including digital tools, production processes, and current media trends.
  • Ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning in both theory and practical lessons.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Confidence with behaviour management and creating an inclusive classroom climate.
  • Experience teaching Media in a UK secondary school (preferred).
