Mechanical Project Engineer

We're looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and support a range of capital and revenue projects. You'll be instrumental in developing long–term engineering strategies, implementing new technologies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. From feasibility studies to commissioning, your work will span the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engineering projects aligned with site strategy.
  • Lead safety studies including risk assessments, HAZOP and FMEA.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC, EN and BS standards.
  • Support change management and documentation processes.
  • Collaborate across departments and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • HNC/HND with 7+ years' experience or a degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in an industrial setting.
  • Strong CAD skills (2D/3D modelling).
  • Analytical mindset with good computing and statistical skills.
  • Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
  • Awareness of CDM regulations and project management techniques.
