Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter with experience in the food industry to join our client's busy food site in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Monday and Tuesday: Working alongside day shift engineers to carry out preventative maintenance and corrective actions within a 2.5-hour window per line.
• Wednesday and Thursday: Collaborating with day shift engineers for preventative maintenance and corrective actions, with an 8-10 hour window each day.
• Friday: Supporting weekend day shift engineers with preventative maintenance and corrective actions.

During maintenance windows, you will have approximately 2.5 hours per line to complete works. Outside of these windows, you will assist with breakdowns, perform PPMs on equipment such as cookers, dolav lifters, and handle greasing and lubrication tasks. You will also undertake corrective works that do not interfere with production.
