Overview

A well-known and highly successful manufacturing business based in the Halesowen area is looking for a skilled Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team. Working within an industrial scale environment, you will provide both reactive and planned preventative maintenance within a team environment. Fault finding and repair of a variety of industrial machinery, this opportunity will suit a proactive engineer who is motivated by working within a technically challenging environment!

Location: Halesowen. Salary: £45,000 per annum + Bonus (£3,500) + overtime + Pension + Healthcare. OTE: around £50,000 – £55,000 per annum. Shift pattern: 3 shifts – 6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6 (Monday - Friday).

Responsibilities

• Provision of planned and reactive maintenance engineering across a broad range of automated production / process machinery.
• Mechanical fault finding and repair activities. Also, basic electrical work when required.
• Stripping down of machinery and installing new machinery when required.
• Keeping Health & Safety at the forefront when all work is conducted.
• Working alongside a cross sectional team of skilled engineers.
• Reporting into the Engineering Supervisor.
