Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and downtime
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly and effectively
  • Maintain machinery in good working order including mechanical and safety systems
  • Support production teams with timely repairs and technical expertise
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to solve problems and improve equipment performance
  • Contribute to meetings, offering ideas to enhance machine efficiency
Requirements
  • Recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Hands-on experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
