Job summary

A leading recycling and recovery company in the UK seeks a Mechanical Engineer to provide technical expertise in industrial boilers and welding within power generation and heavy process environments. Job description
What will you be doing?

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be our specialist in industrial boilers, welding pressure parts, and lifting across our energy and material recovery facility based Cornwall (Cornwall Energy Recovery Facility).

Your role will cover:

Delivering technical expertise in industrial boilers, pressure part welding, lifting operations, and statutory inspections within power generation and heavy process environments.

What you need
  • Proven background in industrial boilers, pressure parts welding and lifting within power generation, EfW, biomass, or heavy process plants.
  • Degree or higher qualification in engineering or management discipline is desired.
  • Understanding and experience of environmental legislation and management systems.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ideally a Chartered engineer or working towards Chartered status.
