Shift
  • 49 hours per week
  • 45 hours Monday to Friday + 4 hours Saturday mornings
Salary
  • £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, troubleshoot and repair industrial shredders, granulators, conveyor belts, and other plant machinery.
  • Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance, including welding duties where required.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and urgent repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Perform routine maintenance on lorries (HGVs) and mobile plant equipment such as forklifts.
  • Fit new parts ensuring machinery is safe and compliant with industry standards.
Skills and Experience
  • Proven mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
  • Experience repairing mobile plant equipment such as forklifts and lorries (HGV maintenance advantageous).
  • Basic welding and electrical knowledge beneficial.
  • Valid Driving Licence required.
