Job summary

A global engineering leader is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Mobile) to join their team. This home-based role in the Midlands offers an OTE of £60,000 alongside excellent benefits such as 33 days holiday, pension, life insurance, and all tools provided. The engineer will be responsible for conducting repairs and maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety at all times. Minimum 2 years experience in a relevant field and mechanical qualifications are essential. On-call duty is required one week per month.

Qualifications

  • 2 years minimum experience in FMCG, Distribution, Logistics Fulfilment, or Warehouse automation industry.
  • Mechanical qualified.
  • Working knowledge of LOLER or LOTO regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Complete scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturer's guidance.
  • Complete emergency repairs.
  • Complete scheduled service work according to the manufacturer's equipment manual.
  • Accurately record all work undertaken.
  • On-call 1 week per month.
  • Comply with Health & Safety at all times.
  • Ensure the correct equipment/tools are carried to undertake the role.
  • Adhere to processes and procedures.
  • Identify continuous improvement.
