A leading water and wastewater company is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Technician for its Waste Water Division in Hatfield. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure operational efficiency. The successful applicant should have an electrical apprenticeship along with experience in a multi-skilled capacity. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, with additional stand-by and overtime earnings. Benefits include a contributory pension, annual leave, and various health and wellbeing perks.
We are currently recruiting a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our team in our Waste Water Division, based out of our Mill Green STW.
As a successful candidate, you will use your mechanical & electrical knowledge and experience to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment, in a safe, efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision, allowing us to ensure that all of our sites remain operational for the benefit of our customers.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to Thames Water's environmental impact, and you will be actively helping to reduce pollution from our sites.
Mill Green STW – AL9 5PE
38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am – 3:36 pm. Plus standby & overtime opportunities increase earnings by a potential £8,000 – £10,000.
All PPE and tools are provided.
You must have previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering with an ups skill in mechanical NVQ2/3 which is crucial.
