A leading water company in the UK is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Technician in Farnham. The role involves maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring safety and compliance. The position offers a competitive salary up to £45,000, alongside additional earnings through standby payments and overtime. Candidates should have NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical & electrical engineering and be a time-served apprentice.
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our team at our Waste Operations team at our Farnham STW.
As the successful candidate, you will be working in a multi-disciplinary team and will be responsible for carrying out scheduled, unscheduled and emergency maintenance work on mechanical and electrical equipment in compliance with company procedures to minimise plant breakdown.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to Thames Water by performing a range of assigned front-line activities, including operation, testing, routine checks, maintenance, and problem-solving to ensure that services are delivered to time, cost, and quality standards. This will include planned and preventive maintenance of equipment to support the operation of the plant.
Base Location: Farnham STW – Monkton Lane, GU9 9ND.
Working Pattern: 38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30-3:36 PM, Plus with Standby rota payments & Overtime opportunities can increase this earning potential by up to a further.
All PPE, Tools, Fuel Card and Provisional use of a company Van.
You should be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in mechanical & electrical systems or with NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical & electrical engineering.
