Job description

Project Overview

Project involves design and development of Mechanical Handling and Cylinder Storage Equipment located within a new-build facility.

Daily Duties

• 3D design and detailing using Autodesk Inventor
• Design of structural steel equipment such as stillages, cradles, stacking blocks etc. for the storage of large process cylinders
• Design of storage solutions for sample bottles such as racks, storage arrays etc. within rooms
• Design of mechanical handling equipment such as an overhead crane, jibs & hoists, rail transporter etc. which can be used for visual purposes and be integrated into the BIM Model of the facility

Skills and Experience

• Expert in the use and knowledge of Autodesk Inventor
• Experience in developing 3D models using steel components
• Experienced in material selection and thickness for structural purposes
• Experience in producing GA drawings
