Qualifications

• All applicants must meet the requirements for UK SC security clearance.
• VISA sponsorship cannot be offered.

Responsibilities

• Designing new products and developing improvements to existing ones.
• Creating detailed 3D CAD models, drawings and assemblies.
• Supporting concept development, stress considerations and material selection.
• Working closely with other engineering disciplines to support integrated designs.
• Producing documentation including specifications, assembly instructions and test approaches.
• Assisting with prototype builds, evaluations and practical test work.
• Managing your own workload to meet project timelines.

Skills

Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)

Strong understanding of tolerances

Familiarity with manufacturing methods

Experience in FEA, thermal or vibration analysis

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

Solid experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer role after graduation
