Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in West London to work on innovative designs for manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience and a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar qualification. Responsibilities include producing 3D designs using Autodesk Inventor, liaising with manufacturing providers, and ensuring documentation is accurate. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. Competitive salary package offered.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in a similar Mechanical Design position.
• Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Produce 3D designs using Autodesk Inventor and 2D designs with AutoCAD.
• Liaise with manufacturing providers and be involved in final assembly.
• Create documentation for design as well as project reports.
