Overview

Our client, based near Stretford, Manchester, is recruiting Mechanical Fitters on a long-term basis.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Read drawings and mark out; assemble bespoke machinery for the Manufacturing Industry
• Use pipe bending, pneumatics; install pumps, hoses and motors
• Time-served Mechanical Fitter with the ability to complete a job that may require adjustments on bespoke machines

Qualifications

• Time-served Mechanical Fitter
• Experience reading drawings and marking out

Hours

• Mon-Thu: 08:00-16:30
• Fri: 08:00-15:30
• Basic 39 hours per week
• Overtime typically 1-2 hours per day and Saturday morning

Pay and Contract

• PAYE: Basic GBP 17.00–GBP 18.00 per hour, with overtime paid at time and a half
• Temporary to Permanent position
• Umbrella rates available
• You will need some of your own tools
