Job description

Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician for one of our prestigious clients in Swindon, SN3 area. You will be working on commercial refrigerators performing diagnostics and repairs.

It is a split duty position with 2 days working on refrigeration and diagnostics and 3 days on warehouse‑dispatch department.

This is day shift 07:45 to 16:30 and early finish on Friday‑ 14:00. Longer hours every 3rd Friday until 16:00.

Salary: £13.50-£14 per hour DOE.

Main duties will include:

• Check refrigerators for faults and issues
• Perform repairs
• Working in a warehouse
• Goods in and out using warehouse management systems
• Communicating with customers regarding shipment

Requirements:

• Previous assembly/manufacturing experience
• Warehouse experience
• 17th edition or F gas desired
