Job description

CSS Recruitment and Training are looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Buyer in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Working hours: Monday ‑ Friday 8 am‑5 pm in office. (No Hybrid)

The role of the M&E Buyer is to support the procurement function on large‑scale high‑rise residential projects. The buyer will be responsible for the end‑to‑end procurement of M&E materials, ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a M&E Buyer within the residential high‑rise sector.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, materials, and installation sequencing.
• Experience managing call‑offs, first‑fix and second‑fix kits and site logistics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills.
