Foleys Garage Ltd have a rare opening for a Motor Vehicle Technician, to start immediately. We are a small, family run independent garage and we are looking for someone with experience in servicing and repairing all makes of vehicles to join our small and friendly team. This is a great opportunity to join a small and friendly team, working in the beautiful Isle of Purbeck.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to a high standard
• Identify faults using diagnostic equipment and technical information
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assist in training and supporting junior team members where appropriate
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining work required clearly

Skills and Experience

• Relevant motor vehicle qualifications or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Job Details

Hours: 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 4 pm Friday. There will be an opportunity to join the rota for 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturdays.

Salary: GBP25,350 to GBP35,915 per year, based on experience.

Location: Isle of Purbeck (In person).
