A healthcare organization is seeking an MDT Facilitator to join their Cancer Services team. The role involves facilitating multi-disciplinary team meetings, managing patient pathways from referral to treatment, and ensuring accurate data collection for cancer patients. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, possess good communication skills, and have a proactive work approach. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Cancer Services team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire as a MDT Facilitator. The MDT Facilitator is an essential part of the whole team providing high quality and prompt care to cancer patients.
The individual is responsible for the smooth running and efficiency of the MDT meetings; including preparation for meetings, tracking and chasing up on progress of cancer patients' diagnostic and treatment steps, timely and accurate collection of cancer data, and ensuring outcomes are followed up after MDT meetings.
We are looking for an individual to join our team who is organised, has attention to detail, good inter-personal and communication skills, and is enthusiastic and proactive in their approach to work.
Secondment will be considered for internal candidates – if you are successful after interview, you must obtain approval from your current line manager to accept the offer.
