A leading education provider is seeking a Functional Skills Maths Teacher at HMP Lancaster Farms in Preston. This part-time role requires expertise in Functional Skills with a focus on creating vibrant learning spaces for students. Candidates must hold or work towards Qualified Teacher Status. HMP Lancaster Farms is located on the outskirts of Lancaster. The prison is a Category C Male Prison and offers a diverse range of education opportunities and employment support opportunities in industrial cleaning, physical education, gardening among others. We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Lancaster Farms, as a Functional Skills Maths Teacher. This position is offered on a permanent part-time basis, working 18.5 hours per week. The role is covering entry to level 1 which will be delivered in the afternoons. Unfortunately, the time is not negotiable. The working pattern will be Mon - Thurs PM and an AM of their choice. The candidate may be asked to cover other Functional Skills sessions from time to time.
