Job summary

A leading education recruitment consultancy is looking for a Qualified Teacher to teach Maths to GCSE and Science to entry level. You will work with Key Stage 3 and 4 learners with SEN, planning lessons and providing pastoral support. The role is full-time and starts immediately, lasting at least for the Autumn term. Qualifications

• Must be a Qualified Teacher with the ability to teach Maths to GCSE and Science at entry level.
• Experience in teaching at a SEN school is highly desirable.
• Pastoral experience or a strong desire to learn.

Overview

A fantastic opportunity has come up for a very special candidate with a specific blend of knowledge, skills and experience. We have been asked to find a Qualified Teacher who is able to teach Maths to GCSE and a minimum of entry level Science. This is a full-time position to start as soon as possible and the role will last at least for the Autumn term but potentially throughout the academic year and beyond.

• Teach Maths to GCSE and Science to entry level, with a focus on Key Stage 3 and 4 learners who have SEN
• Plan and prepare all lessons
• Provide pastoral responsibility for a Key Stage 4 form group
• Cover a few periods each week of ASDAN and PSHE

Essential attributes

• Qualified Teacher
• Solid SEN experience - a track record of teaching at a SEN school is highly desirable
• Pastoral experience or a strong desire to learn
• Excellent spoken and written English
