Job summary

A tutoring organization in Portsmouth seeks an experienced Maths & English Tutor to help students with special educational needs integrate back into mainstream education. The role involves 1:1 teaching at student's homes or local libraries. Candidates must have a PGCE with QTS and at least 2 years of teaching experience in the UK. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience teaching in the UK.
• Knowledge of Maths & English, preferably in Primary or Secondary education.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a 1:1 setting at the child’s home or local library.
• Help kids with SEN to integrate back into mainstream education.
• Support students in preparing for SATS/GCSEs.

Overview

Remedy Tutors are looking for a flexiable, experienced and qualified Maths & English Tutor to help SEN kids fufill their true potential and intregrate them back into mainstream to complete their SATS/GCSE's.

Responsibilities

You will be teaching face to face in a 1:1 setting either at the child\'s home with a parent or carer present, or in a local library or in a private room in a school. You will be helping kids that suffer with various difficulties including, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia etc.

Minimum Requirements

• PGCE with a QTS
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• 2 years experience teaching in the UK
• Knoweledge of Maths & Englsih (Either Primary or Secondary)
