An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered Midwife to join the perinatal senior leadership team for a 12 month period to lead on perinatal workforce, antenatal clinic and antenatal screening. The successful postholder will lead on recruitment and retention across the perinatal service providing upwards reporting of workforce data. The postholder will oversee the preceptorship programme for newly qualified midwives and the student support programme. The postholder will have leadership responsibility and accountability for the antenatal clinic and antenatal screening departments with innovative service improvement. As a credible senior leader with managerial responsibility for perinatal services you will work as a visible leader within the group management structure demonstrating collaborative working across the MDT. As a modern matron you will be responsible for delivering the goals as outlined in the Matrons Handbook. Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
