A leading NHS Trust is seeking a Materials Management Officer to manage stock levels and support materials management across wards. This physically demanding role requires experience in a retail or store environment, strong communication, and good IT skills. The successful candidate will ensure efficient materials management and support expanding services within the Trust.
The Procurement & Supplies Dept. are looking to appoint a Materials Management Officer to join their Materials management team based at University Hospitals Coventry with occasional cover at Hospital of St Cross.
The successful applicant will be part of a Materials Management team monitoring the stock in the storerooms on wards and departments within the Trust as part of the internal supply chain service.

The Department requires an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to assist in providing an efficient and cost effective materials management service to wards and departments at University Hospitals, Coventry.
Duties of this physically demanding role will include visiting areas, checking and agreeing stock levels and ordering and replenishing stocks. The individual will support all wards clinical and non clinical as well as Receipts and Distribution. The handling and moving of roll cages across the organisation into wards areas is a key part of this role and the individual will need to be able to meet the physical and operational demands of the Trust.
