On behalf of Air Atlanta, we are seeking a motivated and detail‑driven Materials Controller to join their team at Gatwick. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global wide‑body ACMI and charter operator supporting complex aviation operations worldwide. Air Atlanta Icelandic was established in 1986, initially operating Boeing 707s for charter projects. Today, the Air Atlanta brand comprises two sister airlines: Air Atlanta Icelandic, headquartered in Iceland, and Air Atlanta Europe, founded in 2021 in Malta.

On offer is a permanent contract with the opportunity to work from home one day per week.

Role Requirements
  • Right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
  • Must be within a commutable distance to RH10 9SA.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying root causes.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
  • Intermediate or advanced skills in MS Office, with accuracy in data handling and reporting.
  • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Recognised training accreditation in logistics, engineering, or sciences desirable.
  • Experience with our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) TRAX/eMRO is a strong advantage.
  • Other ERP platform knowledge considered (Quantum, AMOS, WINGS etc).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply chain, purchasing, engineering or project management within aviation or MRO.
  • Good general knowledge of aircraft components, engineering and terminology.
  • Adaptability, willingness to take ownership and assertiveness.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support material planning, inventory coordination and parts availability to ensure aircraft readiness.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, maintenance and external partners to meet operational demands.
  • Analyse data, identify root causes of material or logistical issues, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and records to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams and suppliers to resolve queries and coordinate material needs.
