Supply Chain Planner
Masham, Nort Yorkshire

You'll be at the heart of the supply chain function, keeping materials moving, stakeholders aligned, and performance on track. If you like variety, visibility, and the chance to make an impact, this could be right up your street.

Responsibilities
  • Taking ownership of materials planning, making sure operations run efficiently in line with forecasts and production needs.
  • Spotting risks and tackling supply challenges head-on to keep everything on schedule.
  • Building strong working relationships across production, procurement, sales, and finance to align priorities and avoid bottlenecks.
  • Keeping a close eye on inventory, lead times, and supplier performance to reduce disruption and maintain excellent service.
  • Driving process and system improvements to give the team better visibility, control, and agility.
  • Getting involved in cross-functional projects, from continuous improvement to sustainability and innovation.
  • Reporting on key metrics and performance to help shape decisions and highlight opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Solid experience in supply chain, planning, or procurement within a busy environment.
  • A sharp eye for detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Someone who can juggle multiple priorities and still deliver on time.
  • Comfortable working with ERP or supply chain systems.
  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or food & beverage is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of lean, JIT, or other continuous improvement methods is a bonus.
  • An understanding of sustainability within supply chains is a bonus.
  • Qualifications such as CIPS, APICS, or similar are a bonus.
