The role

As a Materials and Inventory Planner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a unique opportunity to influence enterprise-level decisions, work with cutting-edge technology, and build a career with purpose in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day, you’ll manage material requirements and inventory planning for submarine projects, ensuring operational demands are met and risks are mitigated.

  • Planning and managing inventory requirements to meet operational demand
  • Attending zonal reviews with production and project teams to identify material risks
  • Interfacing with supply chain, quality, and logistics teams to expedite material requirements
  • Producing material exception reports and supporting risk mitigation activities
  • Providing analysis and insight to influence key decision-making at portfolio level

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience of the Materials and Inventory Planner
  • Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
  • Knowledge of warehouse and logistics inventory planning and control techniques
