Who We Are
About Quarters

Quarters is Brighton’s new cultural HQ — a community-backed home for music lovers, misfits, and midnight families. Built beneath the historic arches that once held Zap and The Arch, we honour decades of club culture while shaping its future with quality sound, bold programming, and connection without clout. From headline acts to unheard voices, live gigs to vinyl sessions, Quarters is where it all comes together. We’re not here to be the biggest; we’re here to be the most trusted, most talked about, and most loved. Welcome home.

AMAAD

Born from a love of putting on parties and building communities, AMAAD has grown from underground raves in 2011 into a company shaped by creativity, culture and a reputation for thoughtful, high-quality production. We’ve brought people together in railway arches, disused shopping centres, landmark institutions like the Royal Albert Hall and Southbank Centre, and even a 19th-century fort on the Albanian Riviera.

AMAAD Venues creates culturally significant spaces across the UK, shaped by our passion for music and community. With The Prospect Building in Bristol and Quarters in Brighton, we’re building venues that truly belong to their cities — rooted, open and alive with culture.

The Role

We’re looking for a dynamic Marketing Executive to lead the planning and delivery of campaigns for Quarters’ weekly club and live events. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role ideal for someone who lives and breathes music, nightlife and culture — and who’s ready to shape the voice and presence of one of Brighton’s most exciting new spaces.

Working closely with our internal teams, external promoters and agency partners, you’ll be responsible for managing campaigns end‑to‑end, driving ticket sales, growing digital reach, and ensuring Quarters stands out as a cultural destination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage and deliver marketing campaigns for Quarters’ weekly club nights and live shows, working closely with internal teams and external promoters to ensure timelines, creative assets and outputs are met.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, linking digital (paid and organic) results with audience engagement and ticket sales data.
  • Oversee website management, ensuring content is current, optimised and aligned with campaign priorities and brand messaging.
  • Identify and develop content opportunities and partnerships — collaborating with artists, brands, collectives, universities and local businesses to grow reach and visibility.
  • Manage key agency relationships across PR, digital marketing, web and design, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery across all channels.
  • Lead on venue marketing and brand development, positioning Quarters as a key player in Brighton’s nightlife and creative community.
  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, print and experiential channels.
  • Grow and manage social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat), curating engaging, platform‑specific content that reflects Quarters’ identity.
  • Create and commission original content – including video, photography, copy and short‑form storytelling – to promote upcoming events and the venue’s wider brand.
  • Manage marketing budgets and campaign spend, providing regular reports and insights to the senior team.
  • Oversee email marketing and CRM activity, building audience data and tracking engagement through newsletters and mailing lists.
  • Build and nurture local partnerships and communities, maintaining strong relationships with creative networks, universities, colleges and local press.
  • Brief and coordinate designers and content creators to produce high‑quality, on‑brand marketing materials for both print and digital campaigns.
  • Support ticketing setup and event listings, ensuring accuracy, optimisation and consistent presentation across platforms.
  • Attend and support events regularly, ensuring on‑ground brand consistency, capturing content and gathering audience insights.
  • Stay up to date with cultural trends and digital innovation, identifying opportunities to evolve the venue’s marketing approach.
  • Provide general marketing and administrative support to the wider team as required.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing or campaign management role within music, nightlife, or events.
  • Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end marketing campaigns and reporting on performance.
  • Confident managing PR, digital, web and creative agency relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the Brighton music and club scene and how to communicate with those audiences.
  • Experience managing paid and organic social media campaigns, linking them to ticket sales and engagement outcomes.
  • Competent with design and content tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar).
Desirable Experience
  • Experience working directly with artists, promoters, or labels.
  • Network of local photographers, videographers and content creators.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Substack) and ticketing systems (Resident Advisor, Skiddle, DICE).
Personal Qualities
  • Passionate about nightlife, music, and youth culture.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and passion for content
  • organised and detail‑oriented.
  • Analytical mindset with a flair for storytelling and visual culture.
  • Reliable, collaborative and thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proactive and resourceful, with a genuine enthusiasm for Brighton’s creative community.
