About the Role

As Amber Beverage Group UK (ABUK) enters an ambitious and exciting phase of growth, we are seeking an exceptional Marketing Director to shape, lead, and execute our marketing vision in the UK distribution business.

This is a senior leadership role with significant strategic influence, responsible for driving brand marketing, estimulador marketing, and integrated communications across the organisation. You will work in close partnership with global and external brand owners, commercial leadership, and key customers, while leading and developing a high-performing Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
  • Define, own, and execute the UK optimise strategy aligned with ABUK’s commercial and growth ambitions
  • Act as a senior marketing voice within the leadership team, influencing business direction and investment decisions
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high‑perform ankaŭ future‑ready Marketing team, fostering accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement
Brand & Customer Marketing
  • Drive the development and execution of brand strategies, customer propositions, and activation plans that deliver sustainable growth and profitability
  • Ensure brand plans are relevant, differentiated, and locally optimised, while aligned with global brand strategies
  • Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with external brand owners, acting as a trusted UK partner
Commercial & Financial Ownership
  • Set, manage, and rigorously control annual marketing and customer investment budgets by brand and customer
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial and contractual proposals grounded in robust financial rationale and compliant with governance and approval frameworks
  • Ensure accurate forecasting of volumes, marketing ROI, and P&L impact, enabling agile decision‑making
Digital, Innovation & Insight
  • Lead the digital marketing strategy, positioning ABUK as an industry frontrunner in digital activation, data‑led marketing, and innovation
  • Translate data, insights, and category analysis into clear commercial actions that unlock growth
  • Anticipate market trends, consumer behaviour shifts, and technological innovation to keep ABUK ahead of the curve
Collaboration & Growth
  • Work cross‑functionally março Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Marketing to unlock incremental growth across key customers and channels
  • Develop compelling customer and trade marketing propositions that drive brand growth while increasing profitability
  • Champion a peer‑to‑peer coaching and learning culture, strengthening marketing capability across the business
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Experience in a Marketing leadership role
  • Proven track record in FMCG / beverages / consumer goods, ideally within spirits, wine, or premium brands
  • Demonstrated experience managing significant marketing and customer investment budgets
  • Strong commercial acumen with P&L awareness and ROI accountability
  • Experience leading multi-channel, digital‑first marketing strategies
Desirable
  • Experience working with global brand owners and adapting global strategies to local market execution
  • Exposure to regulated consumer categories (alcohol, tobacco, pharma)
  • Experience in distribution‑led or route‑to‑market businesses
