Marketing and Communications Officer
Location: York office, with some WFH availability
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

STEM Learning is looking for a skilled and motivated Marketing & Communications Officer to help raise awareness of our programmes and services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining creativity with strategic thinking and has a genuine interest in STEM education.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team, delivering integrated and compelling campaigns and communications that engage a wide range of audiences — from educators and partners to stakeholders and the wider public. You’ll play a pivotal role in amplifying our impact - bringing our programmes, resources, and support to life to help us achieve our vision of improving lives through STEM education.

The Role
  • Plan and deliver a mix of digital and offline marketing, communications, and PR activities
  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns that promote our brand and services
  • Write clear, engaging content tailored to different audiences and platforms
  • Use data and insights to improve campaign effectiveness and audience engagement
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues and partners on marketing best practices
  • Monitor performance, budgets, and ROI, and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Represent the team at events and meetings, and support internal training
