Job summary

A global technology leader in Aberdeen, UK, is looking for an Account Manager to manage customer accounts and ensure complete satisfaction. The role includes responsibilities such as negotiating contracts, delivering solutions, and developing new business. Qualifications

  • A recognised higher education Technical qualification or several years relevant experience in the Offshore Marine, Survey and Positioning industry.
  • Conversational English both Written and Oral.
  • Experience of Commercial Customer Support, i.e. Sales, Sales Engineer (Internal/External), Project Manager etc.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word and SalesForce.
  • Ability to travel for customer meetings, industry trade shows and other events.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage customer accounts including negotiate contract renewals or commercial quotations.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives adhering to company quality and safety standards.
  • Develop new, additional business with existing customers.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Vessel mobilisations: Ensuring that the relevant materials, personnel and documentation have been requested.
