Title: Marine Engineer

Location: Wroxham, Norfolk

Salary or Rate: £33,000 - £35,000 plus overtime

Hours: 40 hours per week, overtime available

Type: Permanent

Our Client is looking for a Marine Engineer to join their expanding team. The Engineer will be responsible for the preparation, build and installation of engineering systems in line with current drawings, specifications and guidelines.

Day to day duties and responsibilities of the Marine Engineer
  • Mechanical fitter of all general Marine systems including, but not limited to, hydraulics, plumbing (domestic, marine, grey, black, fresh water), air conditioning, gas installations, engine/gearbox, and final drive installations
  • Experience with HVAC and piping systems
  • Engine alignment
  • Fitting all mechanical components
  • Reading and interpretation of technical drawings
Qualifications and requirements requested for the Marine Engineer
  • Experience working within the marine industry
  • Proven experience in fault finding and problem‑solving
  • Experience with freshwater cooling systems
  • Experience with air conditioning and on board kitchen/galley appliances i.e plumbing fixing and maintenance
