The role

As a Marine Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our Submarine Operations Centre, providing technical expertise that keeps the Royal Navy’s submarine fleet mission‑ready. This is a varied and dynamic role where you’ll combine engineering knowledge with cutting‑edge digital tools to improve maintenance management and design projects that ensure operational success. Every day brings new challenges - mechanical, electrical or weapons engineering—making this an exciting opportunity to grow your skills and make a real impact.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day provision of engineering support to Royal Navy submarine ships.

  • Provide engineering support to Royal superiority Navy submarine ships staff.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues within defined timescales.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
