MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To be the first point of contact for professional bodies for the MARAC process.
  • To administer the MARAC procedures in accordance with the MARAC operating protocol.
  • To develop and maintain necessary documentation, including referral forms, templates and minutes to ensure the MARAC process is implemented effectively.
  • To arrange, co‑ordinate and attend the MARAC meeting.
  • Develop and maintain a tracking system for MARAC cases, actions, minutes and recommendations.
  • To arrange and co‑ordinate the target hardening service for victims of domestic abuse.
  • Develop and maintain a tracking system for target hardening cases and quality control.
  • To provide cover for the Domestic Abuse, Assessment and Referral service.
  • Develop, maintain and monitor a tracking system for Cadoxton House in line with operating procedures.
  • Collect, review and produce accurate performance management reports.
  • Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality, information sharing policies and procedures and all legislation connected with the role.
  • To disseminate relevant data to the Home Office, Welsh Government, Safe Lives, Police and Crime Commissioner, Supporting People as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with the Council's Financial Regulations, Standing Orders, Policies and Procedures.
  • To implement the principles of the Council's Equal Opportunity Policy whilst carrying out the above duties.
  • To adhere to Health and Safety legislation / relevant Council policies and procedures and to take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other persons who may be adversely affected by your acts / omissions.
  • To implement the principles of the Council's Environment Policy while carrying out the above duties.
  • To report without delay any safeguarding concerns to the appropriate safeguarding officer.
  • Such other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the grade and in accordance with the general character of the job as may reasonably be required by the Chief Officer from time to time.
