This is a business that has been on an exciting growth journey over the past 12 months, a journey that has seen them increase turnover by over 30%! This increase has fuelled exciting expansion plans including a weighty innovation pipeline and additional headcount being added to the business.

This period of rapid growth has now led them to creating a brand new position in the business; Planning Manager.

The Planning Manager appointment is a pivotal role that will see you lead the planning function, where you will deliver development, planning and reporting tools to create critical insight for the entire business.

Remit:

• You will master the scheduling framework, scheduling tool design and implementation, and short-range capacity planning.
• Maximise the use of the ERP system with a view to look at short, medium and long-term developments to improve business efficiency
• Support rough cut capacity planning in conjunction with the Head of Supply Chain and to support with highlighting ahead of time capacity constraints and advising on solutions.
• You will be the Planning lead with the Supply Chain’s in the customer base and internally with the Commercial Team.

A prerequisite for this role is FMCG planning experience, coupled with extensive understanding and intellect in using (and getting the best out of) an ERP System.
