Job summary

A leading manufacturing group is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support both the manufacturing site and senior management. This role involves driving performance improvement, implementing KPI control systems, building Power BI dashboards, and managing financial planning across UK operations. Ideal candidates should be management accountant qualified and experienced in a manufacturing environment with strong analytical and Excel skills. Knowledge of UK statutory accounting is essential. This is a full-time position located in Bradford.

Qualifications

• Qualified or working towards qualification as a Management Accountant.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with strong process knowledge.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar tools.
• Analytical, self-driven, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of UK statutory accounting, VAT, and direct tax.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior manufacturing management to drive performance.
• Implement a KPI-driven controlling system for the factory.
• Build Power BI reports focused on production and operations.
• Review and enhance standard costing methodology.
• Analyse cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Support inventory and stock management for the UK team.
• Lead financial planning and forecasting for the manufacturing site and UK sales.
• Assist with month-end close for three UK subsidiaries and group reporting.
