Team Jobs is currently seeking a candidate with Manufacturing Engineer experience in Portsmouth.

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for planning / designing new manufacturing processes and reviewing existing processes in an industrial plant. This role focuses on maximizing efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization to achieve optimal operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze the layout of equipment and workflow and implement improvements to improve efficiency.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of processes across the facility.

Document and maintain all process-related documents and ensure compliance with business and industry standards.

Provide support and training to operators and staff on new processes or equipment setups.

Provide support to maintenance teams to maintain equipment availability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or a recognised apprenticeship in Engineering (or related field)

Relevant experience in manufacturing or a related area.

Proven capabilities and knowledge of Lean concepts, and practices, applicable in a manufacturing field.

Must be able to operate effectively independently.

Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

2D or 3D CAD skills essential

Reporting Structure:

Reports to Engineering Manager, with primary job functions that require independent judgement.

Job type: Full time

Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:45 and

Friday - 08:00 - 12:00

Pay Rate - 30- 35 depending on experience.

Drug screening is required before the agreed start.
