Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting and improving production processes across the site. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating, modifying and optimising CNC programmes and tooling data to improve efficiency.
  • Supporting feasibility studies and contributing engineering input during production planning.
  • Reviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement in quality, cost and delivery.
  • Working closely with external tooling suppliers to identify cost‑saving and performance improvements.
  • Leading engineering tasks and projects from concept through to implementation.
  • Providing hands‑on technical support to production teams during set‑ups and live manufacturing.
  • Undertaking additional engineering duties as required to support operational goals.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be expected to apply practical problem‑solving skills and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this Manufacturing Engineer role, you will ideally have:

  • Experience with CNC turning and milling, including CNC programming (Fanuc experience advantageous).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
