Ashton Recruitment require a Manufacturing Engineer for our client based in the West-Belfast area of Belfast.

Position: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: West-Belfast

Work Hours: 37 hours per week with an early finish on a Friday

Duration: Permanent

Pay Rate: £28,000+ per annum

Our client, a dynamic manufacturing company in Dunmurry, is renowned for delivering high-quality, precision instrumentation across industrial sectors. They're looking for a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer who thrives in a collaborative, detail‑driven environment and wants to make an immediate impact.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  1. Support production to achieve scheduled output
  2. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with both product and equipment
  3. Develop skills to maintain our ISO 9001 and 14001 Systems
  4. Support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or 5 years' experience as a mechanical engineer
  • Minimum of 2 years hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Ability to read and produce technical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience of being involved as an internal quality auditor for ISO 9001 and 14001 would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
  • Understanding of temperature and pressure equipment would be advantageous
