A recruitment agency in Rotherham is seeking a Manual Machinist with at least 2 years of experience in a high precision manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for general turning, machine maintenance, and operating lifting equipment in a safe manner. The role offers a pay rate of up to £17.50 per hour on a day shift basis from Monday to Friday.

MANUAL MACHINIST

We are recruiting for a Manual Turner to work for our client who are in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF MANUAL MACHINIST :

• General Turning / Cutting duties.
• Machinery and equipment basic maintenance.
• Health & Safety awareness.
• General housekeeping.
• Operate lifting equipment (crane, magnets & slinging).

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS :

• Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
• Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS :

Days ; Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm / Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm

THE PAY :

You will earn an hourly rate up to £17.50 per hour
