Qualifications

  • Mechanical Fitter, Machinist, or Toolmaker apprenticeship required.
  • Experience with CNC equipment is essential.
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 are needed.

Responsibilities

  • Repair press tooling, jigs, fixtures, and machine parts.
  • Create and commission new jigs and fixtures.
  • Assist with new product introduction.

Skills

Proficiency in CNC lathe
Proficiency in CNC mill
Surface grinding
Experience in AutoCAD
3D modelling
Inventor software

Education

Due to growth, they are currently looking for an additional Toolmaker to support the team.

In this role your duties will include repairing press tooling, jigs, fixtures, and machine parts, create and commission new jigs and fixtures, assist with new product introduction, implement continuous improvement techniques,

The Role:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm

The person:

  • Apprenticeship as Mechanical Fitter, Machinist, or Toolmaker or relevant NVQ Level 3/BTEC Level 3
  • Proficiency in CNC lathe, CNC mill, and surface grinding
  • Experience in AutoCAD, 3D modelling or inventor highly advantageous
